Free - Easy to use - DIY - Quickstart Planning process

There is one business problem that, if solved, makes solving all other issues more manageable. Knowing how to plan and execute while overcoming “today’s surprises” is the most foundational leadership capability any organisation can have.

And if it’s just a quick plan to get things rolling, use this process rather than outsourcing the task to a professional facilitator, which is just a plain old waste of cash; you can do it yourself.

The inability of leaders to create a basic plan is a problem that business leaders must solve. With the capability to plan and execute continuously, they gain control of their businesses. Without it, their companies adopt a reactive, firefighting existence.

The thing is, it’s not that hard for anyone with a bit of common sense mixed with a basic structure to establish a working plan – and it doesn’t take that long.

All of my planning follows three steps:

Think – The first free pdf is a simple structured template for recording the “factors” which affect the task/issue/project. This process will get your team brainstorming the things which you need to consider.

Plan – The basic form of the planning process that you will see on the second free pdf has its roots in the process I was taught in the military and can be completed in as little as 60 seconds if the situation dictates.

Do – The third pdf is a simple table format that draws everything together into a “good ole” task list.

My Mission is to support Business Leadership Teams through the ups and downs of business life, helping them stay ahead of the wave and “build back better”.

Feel free to download and crack on with the process yourself or, if you want me to talk you through the process, I am happy to do that – just let me know, no catch.
